We are so incredibly grateful to Ewelme for supporting our daughter to travel to Malta, it has been an amazing experience for her to get the chance to train and compete in a different country. She has gained confidence and had such a fun time meeting gymnasts from other countries. She has made lifelong memories which we know she will treasure. I am forever thankful for Ewelme Exhibition Trust, as I now attend a specialist Drama School.  Since attending I’ve grown massively as an actor and have been provided with so many opportunities which would have never been possible without the generosity of the Trust.

Having my own power tools is a huge benefit as I no longer have to ask for or borrow tools from work colleagues. This means I can work more effectively and take more responsibility in completing more areas of work as I continue to learn my trade.

The grant from the Ewelme Exhibition Trust enabled me to purchase all the tools I needed to start with. I am now fully qualified and working for Classic Performance Engineering, looking after beautiful and historically significant vehicles.

The funding ensured we had an extra adult for the trip, which played a crucial role in making the adventurous activities at the centre accessible to all children, including those with additional needs. Going to my school has allowed me to study fascinating subjects which would otherwise be impossible. I am studying both Greek and Latin for GCSE, which I enjoy very much. The range of subjects that my school teaches has allowed my curiosity to flourish and brought me academic success.

With a grant from Ewelme, I was able to gain an ARSM diploma with distinction on the violin as well as great A-Level grades. This led me to studying mathematics and music at university which would not have been possible without Ewelme.

Life before attending my new College was a different environment for me and many others. I wasn’t meant to have a good education or meant to play sport or even sit half of the GCSEs that I am sitting this year. Even though the odds were against me, the support I received gave me the opportunity to win in life and not fail.
